Facility Efficiency & Maintenance Supervisor
Summary
The Facility Efficiency & Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the optimization of facility operations and maintenance processes. Manages all facets associated with equipment maintenance, machinery operation, and operational efficiency within the warehouse facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a well-maintained and smoothly operated warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy for all warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Schedule routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Coordinate with external service providers for specialized maintenance needs.
- Facility Maintenance
- Maintain- adequate inside and outside
- Further maintenance as needed
- Equipment Operations:
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all warehouse machinery, forklifts, and seamers.
- Ensure that equipment operators are trained and adhere to safety protocols.
- Organize necessary repairs and inspections to guarantee the seamless operation of machinery.
- Check seamers when returned by customers. Fill out a checklist sheet to ensure customers return seamer in good condition.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Implement measures to enhance equipment utilization and operational efficiency.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of warehouse supplies, ensuring an adequate and well-organized inventory.
- Maintain accurate records and inventory control measures.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for metal materials and finished products.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Safety Compliance
- Support the enforcement of safety procedures and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, contributing to the establishment of a secure and compliant working environment.
- Guarantee Compliance with industry regulations and uphold company safety standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Assist in other warehouse operations as needed.
- Undertake additional supervisory responsibilities as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Implement a continuous improvement mindset, encouraging the identification and implementation of innovative solutions for maintenance and operational challenges.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to implement changes.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments such as Shipping and Receiving, Logistics and Operations Team.
- Provide updates to the Warehouse Manager on operational status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
- Extensive experience in maintenance management and warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment, and maintenance best practices.

Working Conditions
